Boat: A Massive Set up Designed from Rice Paper

Presented last 30 days at Art13 London, uk London by China subjective specialist Zhu Jinshi, "Boat" is an amazing installation consisting of bamboo bedding, cotton thread and 8,000 linens of rice paper.

The 12 metre-long framework was constructed over a three-day interval by a team of employees from Hong Kong who padded the linens of rice paper onto the bamboo bedding posts. Talking about the venture Zhu Jinshi said :
“Whereas time only moves forward, the Boat can be sailed in any direction. The Boat’s cultural resonance is constructed of time itself, continuously ebbing and flowing through our imagination.”
