Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8x30 Foundation to Assistance LTE -TDD/TD-SCDMA and All Three Chinese suppliers Suppliers

Qualcomm Integrated (NASDAQ: QCOM) today declared the inclusion of two new Snapdragon™ S4 cellular processors: the MSM8225Q and MSM8625Q. Both are members of the Snapdragon S4 Perform processor level, enhanced particularly for a wide range of smart phone customers looking for quicker programs and better individual encounters. Snapdragon S4 Perform processors will now offer OEMs both dual-core and quad-core CPUs as well as for entry-level cellular phones, with the more innovative version presenting higher bus information, bigger screen quality support, HD movie and enhanced individual encounters. Both processors will be prepared for client choosing by end of 2012 and are required to be delivery in professional gadgets in the first one fourth of 2013.

The MSM8225Q and MSM8625Q processors integrate quad-core CPUs and are the enhanced application suitable variations of the highly effective Snapdragon S4 Perform MSM8225 and MSM8625 processors, which both function dual-core CPUs and double SIM support. The quad-core variations will support LPDDR2 storage, improving the bus information for enhanced functions such as 720p show and 720p movie scribe and decipher. Snapdragon S4 Perform MSM8625Q functions Qualcomm's incorporated multimode UMTS/CDMA computer, and the MSM8225Q has a UMTS computer. Both processors allow Wi-Fi, Wireless 4.0 and FM connection using the Qualcomm Atheros AR6005 and WCN2243 snacks.

In inclusion, Qualcomm also declared just one platform, the Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930, that facilitates all Chinese suppliers operators with UMTS, CDMA and TD-SCDMA. Furthermore, this individual platform will support LTE-TDD and TD-SCDMA, focusing on mid-tier cellular phones for use in Chinese suppliers. Announced in Feb 2011, this processor functions dual-core CPUs and as the first single-chip solution with a LTE computer, it is developed to take LTE to high-volume cellular phones. Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 with LTE-TDD and TD-SCDMA support will be prepared for client choosing by the end of 2012 and is predicted to be delivery in professional gadgets by the first one fourth of 2013.

Qualcomm will also be launching Qualcomm Referrals Style (QRD) variations of all three processors. The QRD system contains extensive device growth systems and an environment system providing access to third-party services of examined and confirmed application and elements components so customers can quickly provide separated cellular phones to price aware customers. The Wi-Fi, Wireless and FM connection technology have been pre-validated and examined with the QRD platform to offer decreased time-to-market. There have been more than 50 public QRD-based item releases to date together with more than 40 OEMs, and there are 100 styles in success, such as QRD-based cellular phones allowed by these new Snapdragon S4 Perform and Plus processors, which are also predicted to be available by the first one fourth of 2013.

"Our wide profile of Snapdragon S4 cellular processors provides the maximum balance of functions as well as for the high-volume smart phone section," said Cristiano Amon, mature v. p. and co-president of cellular and processing items. "By providing both dual-core and quad-core CPU variations of the Snapdragon S4 Perform processor, we are providing our OEM and managing associates a aggressive and separated platform."

The new Snapdragon S4 Perform and Plus processors are developed particularly for high-volume cellular phones, and they offer system producers the ability to move their current Snapdragon S1-based styles to S4 dual- and quad-core CPU-based styles.
